It's one of the most prestigious domains in the Mediterranean, at the crossroads, just 10 min. from Italy.
André Tardieu, President of the French Council from 1929 to 1932, left his mark on French political life. With an intellectual reputation, he retired from politics in 1934 and settled permanently in his castle in Menton until his death in 1945. Nicknamed "The Miraculous", Tardieu was a moderate republican who distinguished himself by his love of modernity and luxury. In 1928, he chose the Annonciade hill, renowned for its temperate climate, to build his castle, the design of which was entrusted to the famous Art Deco architect Pierre Patout, decorator of the Normandie and Île-de-France ocean liners.
